Overwatch Beta starts Oct 27, 2015, sign up link is available.
Primary goal for the public beta is feedback, balance suggestions and making the game as fun as possible. Secondary is to stress test the hardware infrastructure. The close beta will be limited with a small amount gaining access to the game.
They are also going to have beta testing weekends, for more server stress testing.
